merlin sighting
The other day we saw what I think was a merlin hanging out in the plum tree out back. It was a very wet day, and the merlin didn’t look happy at all.
I hope the photos come out.
update: Josh has some photos up in his gallery. That is one wet bird.

You’ll have to link this post in Werdle, because I first read it as marlin. Although I bet if there *were* a marlin hanging out in your plum tree, it wouldn’t look very happy as well.

How cool! My brother saw a hawk in his neighborhood this morning, too. Visits from certain birds are such blessings.
