		<description>I&#039;ve had some second thoughts about chicken soup, even with the lower-cruelty yuppie chicken I&#039;ve been buying these days. I&#039;m just not sure about the wisdom of food that I have to treat like toxic waste.

There are always little chicken bits that go flying when I chop up the chicken, and  &quot;wash down half the kitchen with a bleach solution&quot; should probably be the final step in that recipe.

And packaged chicken broth just won&#039;t do. Not the stuff I&#039;ve tried, anyway; Gateway Gourmet&#039;s Glac&#233; de Poulet might be okay.

I might be better off depending on vegetable stock instead.</description>
