What *I* would do is prop a short shovel against the whole Buddha, and set the other on the ground and pile dirt around like he's buried up to his neck. You might want to set up a little TV on a cart, but then again my favourite part of the Creepshow movie was the Ted Danson/Leslie Nielsen story.
