hedgehog followup

I had the chance to wail, “Oh no! Hedgehog!” at a telephone pollster just now. (Dire, dire hedgehog!) I paused between “Oh no!” and “Hedgehog!” just long enough to hear mental gears grinding at the other end of the line.

    That is _so_ cool. I still haven’t gotten local permission to implement your plan - I mean, it’s not my phone after all - but maybe the results of this field test will be convincing!

    heheheh … this hedgehog strategem is reminding me of the following little snippet of dialog from the Frank Zappa album “Lumpy Gravy”:

    Spider: Oh no, man …
    Monica: Oh …
    Spider & Monica: Kangaroos!
    Monica: And then they eat it when they get home
    John: If it’s still alive …

    Hedgehogs, kangaroos … all good grist for the surrealism mill, say I. :-)
