rain rain rain rain rain
Even the National Weather Service forecasters are starting to sound a little punchy after 22 consecutive days with measurable precipitation. We’re coming up on a local record for soggy days in a row.
LONG TERM…SURPRISE SURPRISE…NO CHANGES MADE TO THE EXTENDED FORECAST. MODELS STILL HAVE ONE SYSTEM AFTER ANOTHER COMING INTO THE AREA WITH RAIN AND SHOWERS AND VERY BRIEF PERIODS OF NON-PRECIPITATION IN BETWEEN.
“Very brief periods of non-precipitation in between.” I’m getting a little punchy myself.

For a second I thought you were talking about San Francisco. Although it’s been a teensy bit dryer here - I think we’ve had actually had some rain-free days.

You know, I thought it had gone on for a bit. I’ve given up hoping for the clear day and am now just grateful for when it lets up for awhile.

Wow, three weeks in a row. That’s a bit unusual, even for Seattle. At least I don’t ever remember being rained on that consistently when I lived in W. WA.

I, for one, am glad it is continuing. I was missing the rain (there was none in, um, Mexico where I was) and it seems like we’ve had a dry couple of years before this…

No wonder I’ve been more depressed this winter. Dark + messier weather = less incentive to go walkies.

28 days today.
My underhouse is flooded and I have no heat.
Holed up in bed with friends and books and food.
Okay, there are ways of coping.
And KeY West.
