Ay caramba! That was bizarre and at the same time, so unfortunately believable. *sigh*

That question is very strange. Perhaps it’s just a very honest oblivious person, but at the same time, it seems like a fair amount of extraneous information to make this character seem as unsympathetic as possible. It enumerates the number of marriages. He consistently avows affection for his current wife and has a child whom he has lost touch with. He is materialistic and shallow minded towards the attitudes of women. It reminds me of the famous classical quote…
Ask not for whom the post trolls, it trolls for thee! (thee being the internet community…not you you)

Gotta wonder what his ‘wonderful spouse’ thinks of the post, and how much longer she’s going to put up with him now that he’s explained to the universe at large that even though she’s teriffic what he really wants is a functional sperm incubator.
And hello! not much here showing he needs to contribute ANOTHER hemi-copy of his genome to the pool.
Blood may be thicker than water, but his head is clearly thicker than both. One of the more elaborate justifications for the classic mid-life crisis ‘quest for a younger woman’ that I’ve seen, but still just as shallow and crass.
