What To Expect

Parking
The Center for Urban Horticulture does have ample parking available, but we encourage guests to carpool.

What to do when you get there
Look for a table near the entrance; it'll be decorated with a whole lot of red paper cranes. Somebody will be there with a guest book and a little gift for you, and they'll tell you where to go from there to get to the area where we're holding the ceremony. Feel free to wander around a bit; it's lovely.

What if...
If you need some help or if you see somebody hanging around who should not be there, find somebody in a white boutonniere. They will work it out.

What to wear
We're more interested in having you there than in what you're wearing! Come in jeans or a ball gown, if you like. We expect that most people will be moderately gussied up, though; it is a fairly formal occasion for us. (We'll be in a suit and a big white dress.) Do avoid wearing spiky heels, though, unless you want to get stuck to the lawn.

Wearing sunscreen would be an excellent idea.

Accessibility
The ceremony site is not entirely wheelchair-friendly. If you have a heavy wheelchair, you may find yourself sinking into the grass. There is a small stone bridge that may also be a problem for wheelchairs. We believe the reception, however, is completely wheelchair-accessible.
